We are currently working with a leading client of ours to recruit for a Hygiene Team Leader to join their team and help drive hygiene standards within the factory.
With an ever-growing business, it is important that this person can provide valuable insight and ensure that hygiene standards within the factory are in line with customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a robust hygiene team and ensure the training is implemented across the company.
2. Support the technical team to maintain hygiene standards.
3. You will be responsible for the Hygiene team and all clean downs that are taking place.
4. Deliver and present all hygiene documentation during 3rd party food safety audits e.g. BRC and all major retailers.
5. Responsible for the ordering of all chemicals, equipment, and hygiene consumables.
6. Conduct and manage the internal audit schedule for Hygiene.
Requirements:
1. Strong understanding of HACCP and BRC requirements.
2. Degree within a relevant subject field.
3. Previous experience working with major retailers.
4. Proven experience within a supervisory role and management of a team.
5. Ability to lead and develop a team.
6. Certified as an internal auditor.
