Community Mental Health Nurse, West Assessment and Treatment Service
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Community Assessment and Treatment/Recovery team based at Mill View Hospital, Hove.
We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience of working with people with complex health conditions in mental health settings.
We welcome applications from practitioners who are highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative, flexible and resourceful.
This post offers the Trust's £4,000 Incentive for band 5-7 Nurses & Practitioners, as well as a relocation package up to a maximum of £8,000 (subject to terms and conditions).
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be part of a supportive smaller multi-disciplinary cluster team within the Assessment & Treatment Service, catering for a set group of GP practices within Brighton and Hove.
A passion for working with people to support individual recovery goals and to work collaboratively with the service user themselves, their carers, colleagues within the third sector, GPs, and the wider mental health service within the Trust is essential.

You will receive high quality supervision, support and training to further develop your skills and experience in a community mental health setting, working as part of a large integrated MDT supporting people with a wide range of complex mental health conditions and needs.
Brighton and Hove is a vibrant and exciting place to live and work, offering a lively city life with the opportunity to get away from it all to the South Downs National park just on the doorstep.
