This key leadership role is vital in providing an appropriate environment for the safe assessment and management for all antenatal, labouring and postnatal women. This role requires professional and clinical integrity and provides the key pivotal communication between all aspects of the service to ensure women's pathways are appropriate and safe. This role is integral to ensuring appropriate care pathways to promote quality, safety and patient satisfaction at all times.
