Business Change Cluster Lead (18-24 months)

Job purpose:
Aligned with the Ahead Together strategy and vision, General Medicines is a £10Bn business (32% of GSK sales) and most likely to grow in the next years. Emerging Markets business is growing 5-10% annually to reach £2.5Bn, making it the second largest region after the US. In this context, Primary and Small Molecules (PSM) manufactures most of the General Medicines’ volumes and supporting 60% revenues and 36% of the growth in 2024-2026.The Business Change & Transformation Cluster Lead has overall accountability for the business change and transformation agenda across PSM, including network development, acting as the liaison between Operations and Strategy team. The role will also represent PSM at EM LT.
Responsibilities include:
Drive and manage the business:
1. Together with PSM SVP and the global strategy group, implement the network strategy for both PSM and for the operations within the cluster, ensuring highest level of delivery, commercial alignment and returns
2. Lead the Business Change & Transformation team, to deliver the objectives of the business in partnership with Commercial and the GSC strategy team, ensuring the right effectiveness and KPIs adherence
3. Drive operational performance and ensure continuous supply of medicines for all entities within the cluster
4. Manage GSK resources effectively to deliver the longer-term strategy, portfolio evolution and performance ambition
5. Provide leadership to SDs and manufacturing sites to ensure flawless operational delivery across sites, at the right cost and with the right quality
6. Effectively manage GSK Enterprise Risks
7. Accountable for ensuring GSK operates in line with all local and globally applicable laws, policies, SOPs and legislation including EHS, Quality, financial reporting
8. Ensure regulatory alignment
9. Oversee delivery of strategic projects for PSM

10. Provide cluster team leadership and engage all employees in delivering the objectives to expectations
11. Inspire, engage and align employees to understand and deliver the strategy
12. Lead, evaluate, and develop senior leaders and teams
13. Foster a high-performing team environment, in compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations and laws
14. Attract, develop, and retain diverse talent at all levels to ensure quality succession plans for priority roles in the organisation

Requirements:
24. BA degree / MA degree
25. Site operations experience
26. Experience with transformation and change management
27. Understanding of network strategy and commercial levers
28. Engaging, empowering and decisive leadership style with well-developed relation building skills to build trust and credibility and establish networks across markets, Commercial and other functions at a regional and global level
