We are a renewables and engineering specialist in Solar, batteries, EV charging, and carports. We have a wide range of clients with diverse technical needs, and we are looking for a consultative, technical person to join our growing team in Nottingham.
This role is intended to suit either an experienced asset manager or someone new to the industry who wants to learn and grow in knowledge and confidence into a more technical role.
We are based in Chilwell, Nottinghamshire, and it is expected you will have the means to travel to the office; however, flexibility is available once your initial training is completed.
Tasks
* Build relationships with your customers and understand their needs as well as their solar assets.
* Be the primary client contact for clients and manage customer queries.
* Contract management and ensuring all contracts in accordance with each site are up to date and conditions are met.
* Ensure all O&M works are completed in accordance with contractual obligations.
* Assist with the management of internal resources to plan and execute O&M works.
* Raise work orders, manage H&S practices, and ensure best practices.
* Perform detailed technical analysis to determine factors and trends that impact production and asset life, including the management of fault tickets, keeping to contractual obligations and response times.
* Provide reporting to both external clients and internal management.
* Update internal systems with key account information.
* Enter key aspects of new and renewed Service contracts into our CRM and keep up to date.
* Look out for the next innovation and constantly seek to improve yours and the team’s knowledge, understanding, and abilities.
* Be organized, work with many different projects simultaneously, and manage every customer’s expectation to ensure good service.
* Assist in the preparation of New O&M opportunities.
Progression
* Learn how to engage in a consultative sales process to understand clients’ renewable energy needs and wants, either directly or via tenders.
* Learn about new technologies, EV chargers, LV and HV infrastructure, etc., and how they can best be implemented for our customers.
* Learn how to evaluate, monitor, and analyze Solar PV, battery, and EV charging systems, understanding key nuances of site limitations.
* Learn commercial acumen and lead analysis.
* Learn how to negotiate contracts and service levels with customers and develop an appreciation of technical and performance risks.
* Develop into a key member of the O&M team, allowing the department to grow and create further opportunity to expand the service provision and also personal growth.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
