Project Manager | Horsham | Residential Construction A growing high end residential developer is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their company. The Project Manager will be overseeing 2-3 projects at one, reporting into the Managing Director. The Project Manager will be based in their office in Horsham with projects nearby in Sussex and Surrey. The Project Manager must have construction experience ideally in residential developments. Project Manager requirements: Oversee and coordinate construction activities on up to two or three property sites simultaneously. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing proactive measures to mitigate issues. Collaborate with architects, quantity surveyor, main contractor, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and quality standards. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work quality, safety practices, and adherence to project plans. Manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and productivity on-site. Prepare regular progress reports and updates for the Director, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among project teams and stakeholders. Project Manager Requirements: A construction related degree/ qualification Proven experience in construction management, with a track record of successfully overseeing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of construction techniques, methods, and best practices. Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, cost estimation, and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide project teams to achieve common goals. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure in a fastpaced environment. Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
