An exciting opportunity hasarisen for an Apprentice to join the Process Development team at our Dittonsite. If you have a keen interest in science and are looking to further yourstudies to a Level 3 Certificate BTEC inApplied Science, this is an ideal opportunity for you.
The Process Development team workin areas associated with production support, development, optimisation and investigation of existingprocesses as well as providing technical support to other departments on siteand longer term projects.
As an apprentice you will develop in this team by carrying out both routine and one-offlaboratory tests and performing a variety of technical support activities tosupport our manufacturing plants. Along with on-the-job training, we willprovide sponsorship to allow you to study towards your science related qualification.

Essentials:
10. An interest in working in a scientific role within a laboratory
11. You will be able to demonstrate a desire to continue your education while working
12. Effective communication skills, capable of building good working relationships and producing a high standard of written work
13. Accuracy is an essential feature of this role, therefore a keen eye for detail will be needed
14. You will need to be organised to ensure deadlines are met and work is scheduled appropriately
15. Educated to A level standard as a minimum, with GCSEGrades A-C in English and Maths
Desirables:
16. Work experience gained within a lab environment
17. Good IT skills
18. To be able to work without supervision once trained
19. Good problem solving skills
20. Basic IT skills (PowerPoint, Excel, word etc.)
