About the Role An Independent school in Barnet requires a talented Music Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. You will deliver inspiring music lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a dedicated Music Teacher. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons, focusing on performance, composition, and music theory. Prepare students for assessments and performances. Develop students' musical skills and appreciation. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the music curriculum and resources. Organise and potentially lead music-related extracurricular activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music. Proven experience in teaching music at secondary level. Strong musical skills and knowledge of music theory.
