About the Role
The Royal College of Art (RCA) is seeking a dynamic and accomplished artist or art theorist to join the MA Painting Programme as a Tutor (Research). This part-time position (0.6 FTE) offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of contemporary painting through teaching, research, and critical discourse.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in research and professional practice, with an internationally recognised profile in contemporary art. They will engage with postgraduate students in a studio-based environment, fostering an inclusive and expansive approach to painting that critically examines its histories, materiality, and potential within today's global and intercultural contexts.

4. Engage with external partners, institutions, and cultural organisations to support student learning and professional opportunities.
