Overview:
Are you an outgoing and versatile individual who has previous experience working as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant that would be immediately available for a new role? If so, we have a new and exciting opportunity available working as a part-time Bookkeeper within the finance department of an established accountancy practice based in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role offers the unique opportunity of selecting your own working days in line with the weekly working hour requirements.
This offers a great opportunity for an individual that is currently immediately available and has some prior knowledge and familiarity with different types of Bookkeeping. The role is based in Stratford-upon-Avon and is purely office based with free on-site parking. The position involves preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns as well as the preparation of management accounts, working within a small and inclusive team.
Skills required:
1. Previous experience in Bookkeeping for a variety of different clients is preferable as well as exposure to Sage, Xero or QuickBooks financial software.
2. Understanding and knowledge around the preparation of management accounts and VAT/CIS returns.
3. Versatile and innovative mindset needed to adapt accordingly to changes in workload volumes.
4. Confident communicator that is able to build strong rapports with clients and work effectively as a team.
