We have a great opportunity for a career-minded individual to join our waste team as the Electrical Technician at Earlswood STW.As the successful candidate, your role will be to ensure that all equipment at our sewage treatment works is running safely and efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods. You will inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair electrical and mechanical plant equipment.You will also be working in a multi-discipline team and will be responsible for carrying- out scheduled, unscheduled and emergency maintenance work on Electrical equipment in compliance with company procedures to minimise plant breakdowns.What you’ll be doing as theElectrical Technician
1. Investigate plant failures and carry out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid interruptions to the process.
2. This may involve investigating and diagnosing complex faults and carrying out repairs during incidents.
3. You will be expected to provide technical advice, refer to up-to-date technical knowledge, and provide training or support for technical trainees if required.
