Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum
2. Plan, prepare, and assess science lessons, ensuring differentiation to meet the needs of individual students
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and achievements
4. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective science teaching strategies
6. Monitor and manage student behavior in line with the school's policies and procedures
7. Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and keep abreast of current educational trends
Minimum Requirements
1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
2. Bachelor's degree or higher in a science-related field
3. Proven experience teaching science at the primary or secondary level
4. Knowledge of the national science curriculum and assessment frameworks
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
