Secondary teaching assistant

Secondary Teaching Assistants required to support pupils across KS3-KS4 at a Mainstream Secondary School in Brent. Previous experience working with SEND isessentialbut does NOT have to be school based experience i.e. Youth Mentor, Youth Support Worker, Alternative Provisions/Pupil Referral Unit

Responsibilities:

* Work closely with teachers and other professionals to support students with challenging behaviour in the classroom.
* Implement individualized learning programs designed to meet the specific needs of students.
* Promote positive behaviour management techniques
* Assist with the development of personalized educational plans (IEPs)
* Monitor and track student progress,
* Provide emotional support to students, helping them develop self-esteem, confidence, and resilience.
* Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the well-being of all students.
* Assist with administrative tasks related to student records and documentation.
