The Role:
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for our logistics operation during your assigned shift. You will help manage a team of employees, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to company policies and procedures. Your role will be vital in maintaining a smooth and productive workflow, meeting customer demands, and optimizing the overall efficiency of Mulberry’s logistics operation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Leading the Warehouse Team:
1. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of dedicated warehouse operatives.
2. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring a smooth workflow.
3. Foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and attention to detail.
4. Resolve any operational issues or conflicts that arise during your shift, escalating to upper management when necessary.
Efficient Operations:
1. Develop and implement streamlined processes and procedures to expedite operations.
2. Continuously monitor and improve productivity levels to meet or exceed targets.
3. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Health and Safety:
1. Uphold strict health and safety standards to safeguard both employees and products.
2. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
3. Promote a safe working environment through training, awareness, and adherence.
Brand:
1. Understand and demonstrate the Mulberry employee values and behaviours: Be Bold, Be Imaginative, Be Open, Be Responsible.
2. Support Mulberry to deliver an inclusive culture, through behaving in a way that is open-minded and respectful towards others.

Teams:
1. Hold daily meetings to update the team.
2. Provide support to Warehouse operatives within the area, covering training/mentoring and providing assistance when required.
3. Support the Warehouse Lead in preparation for the team's regular 1-2-1 meetings.

Skills and Knowledge Required:
1. Previous experience in logistics management or a related field, preferably in a supervisory role.
2. Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
5. Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools, such as inventory management and systems software (preferably Manhattan).
6. Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
7. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
8. Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays, as required.
9. Excellent numeracy skills and confidence in using Microsoft Excel.
