We are seeking a Production and Operational Performance Manager to join our Bournemouth team on a full-time, permanent basis. The salary range is £49,472 - £55,269, along with a range of excellent company benefits and rewards.
About the role:
You will oversee the operational and environmental performance of the Bournemouth region, focusing on EPA compliance, including abstraction and discharge management, compensation adherence, MCERTS, and WINEP. You will serve as the operational liaison with central teams (Water Resources, Natural Resources, Service Improvement, and Water Quality) and be the primary contact for tactical EA liaison. Collaboration with SWW to promote and lead on best practices is essential.
What you'll be doing:
* Monitoring and reporting Bournemouth ODI performance, including input into Annual Performance Reporting.
* Re-creating the Bournemouth Control Room and managing the Incident Response structure.
* Representing Bournemouth operations in group integration activities, especially related to Control Room and IT.
* Leading operational engagement with the Environment Agency and Pennon departments.
* Developing robust methodologies for operational, environmental, and ODI reports for stakeholders.
* Ensuring delivery of Water Resources and Natural Resources plans.
* Driving catchment management plan execution.
* Maintaining compliance on abstraction and compensation, identifying risks, and investigating breaches or near misses.
* Working with central teams on license modifications.
* Preparing the region for EPA compliance.
* Monitoring Bournemouth ODI performance monthly and in APR.
* Participating in standby duties as required.
