The pre-paid funeral plan market is expanding- due to product awareness and families financially planning for their future. Combining our strong brand and excellent product offering, we have a competitive advantage in providing pre-paid funeral plans.
Joining us a field-based arranger, you’ll be helping to talk our customers through our wide range of pre-paid funeral options. Due to the nature of the role, you’ll need to always ensure compliance with Financial Conduct Authority regulations.
In this rewarding and challenging role, you’ll be travelling to our funeral homes within your region where you’ll be providing a high level of customer service and helping to make sure our customers are getting the right funeral plan for them, you will present information and support customers to make the right decision for them.
You’ll be building key relationships with all our funeral colleagues in your area, as well as the community. You'll be creative in your support of local community events – retaining, growing, and maximising all opportunities with potential customers through the introduction and management of campaigns and initiatives.
Central England Co-operative Funeral Plans Limited (CEC FPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Central England Co-operative Limited (CEC). We are a specialised and regulated funeral plan distributor and provider with the CEC Group.

Being able to demonstrate a strong sales technique, you’ll be committed to delivering new business and growing opportunities – taking ownership of individual funeral plan sales generated through various sources.
Charismatic, friendly and personable, you’ll comfortably and easily build relationships with new and existing customers through various forms of communication. This role will be mobile working; therefore, you’ll be required to carry out both in person meetings with customers across your trading area and using remote methods such as video and telephone calls. Flexibility with regards to travel will be essential as will as holding full, UK Driving Licence.
Experience of working in an FCA regulated environment and/or being FCA certified would be an advantage, however this is not essential. Successful applicants will complete the required training to gain certification upon starting the role.
