We are looking for nurses with experience who can provide evidence of continuing professional development. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and clinical skills and have a positive approach to team working. As a pivotal part of our team, you will be responsible for the provision of safe and effective harm free care. A genuine interest in Outpatient Nursing is essential. Flexibility to work within Outpatient clinics in Clacton, and Harwich.
We staff a variety of clinics from all specialities and have nurse led clinics and assist with Minor op and diagnostic procedures. We also support the Jubilee infusion lounge which is part of our team; recent experience in this area would be of benefit.
A visit to the department prior to the interview is encouraged.
Hours of work are currently Monday to Friday. We are happy to consider applications from those wishing to work part time hours.

Main duties of the job
1. To meet the needs of the Trust with regard to Induction, mandatory and statutory training.
2. To work within the framework for Clinical Governance to provide effective, high quality individualised nursing care to patients and relatives/carers and to contribute to the continuing development of nursing practice.
3. To ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines.
4. To work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team.
5. To work within the Trust's Competency Framework for Registered Nurses, the Ward/ Department Philosophy and the NMC Code of Conduct/ Professional Standards for the Protection of Patients.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse Level 1 or 2 or awaiting results.
* Evidence of continuing professional development

* Understanding and ability to apply clinical governance principles to practice.
* Aware of current issues within health and nursing
