This role acts as an SME for Corporate Actions delivery. Corporate Action tasks can be straightforward, but they can also often have bespoke or technical complexities that need to be managed.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
1. This role supports (but is not a supervisor to) Task Specialists to ensure that procedures are followed within an ISO 9001 framework, that regulations are adhered to, risks assessed and mitigated, and that the tasks meet required Service and Quality Standards.
2. They will also need to be able to assess if the bespoke nature of a task means that new procedures or variations are required, and ensure these are developed, documented, and implemented.
3. They will spend the majority of their time performing parts of the Corporate Actions process, particularly linked to governance (e.g., checking and authorising during active delivery), identifying and resolving issues.
4. They will organise and/or deliver training to less experienced team members, as required, and provide feedback to Task Specialists line management for use in PDRs and Skills assessments.
5. They will be able to work autonomously and/or in conjunction with the Technical Manager and other teams as required, and cover for the Technical Manager during periods of absence.
6. Works with moderate to minimal guidance and knows when to escalate.
7. They will identify and deliver CI, be aware of and support MI, support Corporate Actions queries and lead related development projects.
