Initially 4 days on-site, moving to 3 days per week depending on workload
Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a Sustainability Project Manager - Purchasing to act as a focal point within the Procurement function. Reporting directly to the Commodity Head, the role will focus on the selection of low-carbon materials and the decarbonisation of the supply base. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating sustainability requirements into sourcing processes and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead sustainability and decarbonisation initiatives within Procurement, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Work closely with Brand Group leads to develop and implement "Chain of Custody" processes and procedures within procurement.
Adapt and deliver sustainability training modules for the procurement function and strategic suppliers.
Develop project timelines and plans to track progress, ensuring key deliverables are met.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong communication and collaboration.
