The Company
We are working with a market leader who is experiencing significant growth. They have a clear path for future company growth and as such are looking to add a Sales Manager to their flagship team at their Salford depot.

The Role
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the sales centre department to achieve ambitious growth and sales targets. This leadership role involves overseeing all sales centre operations, driving performance, and shaping annual strategies that deliver strong KPI performance and an excellent customer experience. Additionally, the Sales Manager is accountable as part of the depot Management Team for the achievement of the Regional profit through maintaining standards of Customer Service and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a sales centre strategy that aligns with sales objectives and growth goals. Set clear performance goals and KPIs for the sales centre team, creating a roadmap to achieve and exceed these goals.
2. Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales centre department to ensure consistent high performance and adherence to sales processes. Monitor and improve sales centre KPIs and targets to achieve optimal productivity.
3. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, inspire and manage a team of sales team leaders and sales executives to drive performance, motivation, and job satisfaction. Establish a supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement, skill development and achieving shared goals.
4. Performance Management: Review, target and measure Key Performance Indicators with the department through the forum set out with the Pathway Performance approach. Ensure the department is in full compliance with both the Company ‘Environmental’ and ‘First for Service’ policies.
5. Customer Centric Approach: Ensure all sales centre interactions reflect a customer-centric approach, with a focus on providing a positive experience and fostering long-term relationships.
6. Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and performance analysis to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement. Use data and insights to inform strategic decisions, adjust sales approaches and identify areas for growth.
What We Are Looking For
The Sales Manager will be a highly motivated individual, with the ability to lead a team and develop individuals. As the Sales Manager you will ideally have:
1. Experience in leadership, ideally in a telesales or contact centre environment.
2. Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving team performance with a strong understanding of telesales techniques, metrics, and best practices.
3. Proficiency in CRM software and telesales tools, with the ability to leverage technology for performance improvement.
4. Skills in leadership and coaching paired with strong interpersonal skills.
5. Experience of working in a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment.
6. Deep understanding of telesales strategies, techniques, and conversion tactics.
7. Ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.
8. Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in analysing data, understanding trends, and translating insights into action.
9. Customer Centric Approach: Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences that enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
