Pyramid8 are recruiting a Deputy Manager for a Domiciliary Care Service in Leeds. They are a not-for-profit domiciliary care agency dedicated to providing compassionate and tailored care services within the Northeast Leeds area. Looking for a dedicated individual who has either worked as a Deputy Manager in a similar setting or is looking for their next step up from a supervisory role.
This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week on a rotational basis covering early, late shifts, weekends, and on-call tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the organisation.
2. Ensure the delivery of high-quality care services in line with CQC standards.
3. Supervise and support our dedicated team of caregivers, promoting a culture of excellence.
4. Oversee care plans and ensure they are tailored to the unique needs of each client.
5. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
6. Foster strong relationships with clients, their families, and social care/healthcare professionals.
7. Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of care staff.
8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
Essential Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a similar role within a registered care setting.
2. Strong leadership and management skills.
3. Excellent understanding of CQC standards and regulations.
4. A passion for delivering high-quality care and a commitment to continuous improvement.
5. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
6. UK driving license.
7. Strong admin skills (particularly adept at using Microsoft Office Suite).
