Padel Project UK is a growing sports and leisure business focused on building and running high-quality padel facilities across the UK. We are dedicated to making this dynamic sport accessible to communities nationwide. By partnering with sports clubs, local authorities, and various organisations, we establish state-of-the-art padel facilities that cater to players of all levels. We are expanding rapidly and are looking for an experienced, hands-on Head of Marketing to drive awareness, engagement, and growth across all our current and future sites.
Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Head of Marketing to lead and execute our marketing efforts across the business. This is a senior role that requires both strategic oversight and a willingness to get stuck into the day-to-day. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive marketing strategy to support business growth, working closely with leadership, external consultants, and site managers.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and own the overall marketing strategy for Padel Project UK and its venues
* Build and manage the marketing budget and ensure high ROI across all activities
* Lead on the launch marketing for new site openings across the UK
* Work with leadership to align marketing with business goals and expansion plans
Digital Marketing & Performance
* Oversee all digital marketing activity including SEO, paid advertising (PPC, social ads), email campaigns, and content marketing
* Manage the company website, ensuring it is optimised for user experience, lead generation, and SEO
* Ensure consistent and engaging brand messaging across all channels
* Drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement through digital channels
Analytics & Tracking
* Implement tracking and reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics, CRM dashboards) to monitor campaign performance
* Use data to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and inform decision-making
* Provide regular performance reports to the leadership team
Content, Social Media & PR
* Oversee content creation, including social media, blogs, videos, newsletters, and promotional material
* Manage social media strategy and execution, ensuring community engagement and follower growth
* Collaborate with PR consultants to drive media coverage and brand awareness
* Work with and manage relationships with external marketing consultants, designers, photographers, videographers, and agencies
* Coordinate the delivery of projects, ensuring deadlines and KPIs are met
* Ensure all external work is on-brand and aligned with business goals
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a senior marketing role (min. 3 years), ideally in a consumer-facing, multi-site or sports/leisure/hospitality brand
* Strong digital marketing skills, with a track record of running successful multi-channel campaigns
* Experience using marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, CRM/email platforms, etc.
* Comfortable working with data, tracking ROI, and making data-informed decisions
* Excellent communication and project management skills
* Creative mindset with an eye for branding, design, and storytelling
* Comfortable working both strategically and operationally
* Experience managing agencies or consultants is a plus
