Regulatory Accountant - Randstad Financial & Professional
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for production and conduct first level review daily (Capital Adequacy, Large Exposures and Leverage Ratio) and supervisory returns (PRA/BOE/Others).
* Experience of preparation of internal MI including commentaries for various internal Committee packs.
* Take lead in release testing and proactive in optimising tools to enhance controls / streamline existing processes.
* Active participation in enhancing controls related to regulatory processes requiring good knowledge of COREP and Balance Sheet.
* Ability to assist in and assist in validation of key regulatory interpretations.
* Assist with maintaining internal regulatory documents, policies and EUC's.
* Support in the production of Pillar 3 documents and ICAAP stress testing.
* Assist in creating and ensuring the team adheres to UK Regulatory Reporting internal policies.
Required
* 5+ years' experience of working in a reporting or control environment and experience of regulatory reporting requirements.
* Experience with COREP, ICAAP and Pillar 3 reporting.
* Experience in dealing with regulatory change and enhancement projects.
* Knowledge of Capital Markets products notably: Securities, SFT's and derivatives.
* Strong understanding of regulatory rules Basel III, CRD V.
* Experience in people management, including junior and more experienced staff.
Preferred
* Finance qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CFA) will be beneficial to this role because of the focus on creating a strong control environment.
* Use of Regulatory Reporting Software (Axiom).
