H&S/CDM Team Administrator
Location: Colchester
Salary: up to £28,000 per annum
The successful candidate will provide the H&S and CDM team administration on a variety of projects, across our different sectors.
The selected candidate will:
1. Address client and project demands.
2. Guide and support in compliance with H&S regulations.
3. Coordinate H&S measures for the planning and preparation of all construction phases.
4. Complete administration paperwork and communicate this through the appropriate channels.
5. Work with clients in terms of project delivery regarding CDM regulation.
6. Manage day-to-day administration for multiple internal and external client CDM portfolios.
7. Create and maintain assignment data trackers and attend relevant meetings as a minute taker.
8. Complete general typing and audio typing tasks and support with documentation version control.
9. Coordinate security screening and vetting checks.
10. Liaise with suppliers, obtain quotes, prepare client invoicing, and monitor and enter timesheets.
11. Coordinate completion of sub-consultant paperwork and performance checks, ensuring purchase orders are entered into the MIS and invoices attached.
12. Process real-time data entry into the MIS and ensure fee projections are up to date to administer fee proposals and client orders.
13. Archive project information on completion and process and circulate relevant reports.
14. Enter client information and fee proposal data into the CRM system.
15. Prepare and update marketing materials and complete prequalification questionnaires.
16. Coordinate diary management of the team and manage actions of meetings.
Essential skills, experience, and attributes:
1. Knowledge of legislation relevant to the construction industry, CDM, and health and safety (advantageous, but not essential).
2. Qualification in health and safety (NEBOSH construction, TechIOSH, etc.) provided with the role.
3. Knowledge of construction industry terminology.
4. GCSE or Equivalent grade C or above in Maths and English.
5. Advanced working knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
