Job summary We are seeking to recruit a band 3 administrator to support patients and staff within the Enfield Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT service).Talking therapies services provide psychological therapy to people presenting with anxiety and low mood and majority of patients self refer to the service.The service receives a large volume of referrals and delivers high numbers of clinical appointments via a team of more than 70 clinicians. Administrators are an integral part of the service and the postholder will be supported by peers, senior administrators and the office manager. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, enjoy working with people and a fast pace of work, and who want to be part of a team. Support will be provided for training and development, and we place a lot of emphasis on staff support and wellbeing. Main duties of the job To prioritise and organise own workload, acting on own initiative and being proactive about change. To open post/ emails and action appropriately e.g. prioritising referrals that indicate risk; ensuring important information is sent to senior members of in a timely manner. To organise and maintain office stationery supplies. To organise and take notes at meetings as required. To provide a general administrative function for the team members as directed by senior management. To work collaboratively with other team members. To welcome clients attending appointments and respond to any queries. To be able to manage difficult situations in a calm and empathetic manner in person and on the telephone. To maintain and operate the client clinical data systems. To contact clients to arrange appointments. To be flexible in approach to work. To undertake annual appraisal with Line Manager and to attend meetings and training courses as required. To work at least one evening shift until 8:00pm every week.
