A Nottingham based food manufacturing company is looking to recruit a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer working on perm NIGHTS for their modern food production facility based in South Nottingham.
As an electrically biased multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.
Role:
1. Multi-skilled, electrically biased
2. 4 on 4 off shifts – perm Nights (12 hours, 6pm – 6am)
3. Opportunity to work in a modern manufacturer
4. Salary of c£51,500
Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:
1. Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
2. Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
3. Ensure good repair/manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
4. Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents/CMMS
5. Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
6. Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
Experience and skills required:
1. Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC/HNC level
2. Multi-skilled, mechanical and electrical skills/experience
3. Apprenticeship trained
4. Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
5. Food or FMCG manufacturing/production experience required
