Job Description:
Job Purpose
To serve as the technical specialist for designated stores, responsible for first call response to Fire, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA, and Automatic Pedestrian Gates.
Key Accountabilities
* Perform maintenance and repairs following KPI standards, including response, repair, first fix, and closure.
* Ensure all CCTV-related work complies with contractual obligations outlined in the CityFM Bookcase.
* Complete PPM tasks within specified times and ensure accurate documentation following procedures and standards.
* Respond promptly to service requests during normal hours and on-call periods, with out-of-hours issues referred to specialists.
* Order parts as needed, ensure prompt fitting, and chase outstanding parts not delivered within 5 days.
* Complete all required paperwork to measure service performance and conduct surveys as requested.
* Regularly communicate with the Duty Manager during store visits to report repair and maintenance issues.
* Ensure all tools and equipment are available and in good condition.
* Conduct Fire PPM visits in accordance with BS5839 standards.
* Ensure fire alarm systems comply with BS 5839 and report any defects.
* Stay informed about relevant regulations and best practices.
* Notify the helpdesk of procedural or task-related issues upon completion of work.
* Carry out surveys and submit reports as directed by supervisors or technical specialists.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
