Training is included to prepare you for this role Warehouse Operative pay: £13.50 per hour Warehouse Operative role: To undertake carry out a variety of warehouse activities including picking, loading and unloading of vehicles. The role will involve manual handling and some heavy lifting. Completion of paperwork to be completed daily i.e. returns manifests, daily drivers paperwork, footprints To ensure the operation meets the customer service requirements and site KPIs by completing each function to the highest standard. To carry out general housekeeping and maintenance duties, to ensure that the profile of the site is maintained to the highest standard To be responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and other operatives by adhering to safe working practices Ensure that all aspects of your area are co-ordinated to create a professional, safe and hygienic working environment, ensuring smooth flow of work in the warehouse, determining quality and appearance of the finished product before sending to the customer. Report all faults or damage to equipment in accordance with company procedures. Have knowledge of company and statutory Health & Safety, Security and Emergency Procedures. Maintain operational standards to the highest possible level with regards to service, cleaning standards and ensuring that there is minimal wastage.
