Job summary The post holder is responsible for utilising specialist skills to provide high standards of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised care pathways. The needs of the service must take priority in times of high acuity or staffing shortfalls, however, the post holder should expect to have minimal clinical commitment during the shift. This role will include supporting other nurses, particularly during periods when additional workload impacts on bedside caring time, e.g. during the acute period of admission or the internal and external transfer of babies.
