Join to apply for the Senior Dietitian - Community *£2,000 Incentive* role at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust
This post attracts a recruitment incentive of £2,000 pro rata (conditions apply)
Come and join our team working in beautiful, sunny Suffolk! We are looking for an enthusiastic Dietitian to join our friendly and supportive integrated service. You will be a key member of the community team, delivering Dietetic assessment and interventions to a complex caseload of patients in their own home and in a clinic setting.
You will also be responsible for quality improvement initiatives to further develop implementation of MUST and food first initiatives, training community staff, and providing support to the Dietetic Assistants delivering MUST training in care homes.
You will benefit from being part of an integrated inpatient (Ipswich Hospital), outpatient, and community service that incorporates a range of clinical specialisms including renal, paediatrics, and oncology. This affords lots of opportunities to develop and learn new skills, with a commitment from the service to support your continuing professional development.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering a quality, evidence-based service, relishes working in a busy setting, and is a strong team player. We seek someone with excellent team working skills with both Dietetics colleagues and the wider MDT, as well as an ability to work independently and flexibly.
Please note that our Department offers access to a Pool vehicle.

* To manage a caseload of complex home visits.
* To supervise junior members of staff, including band 4 assistant practitioners.
* To contribute to the dietetic service in the community, providing expertise to patients, carers, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals as part of the multidisciplinary team.
* To provide specialist input into the planning, development, and evaluation of dietetic services within your team and for defined projects, including looking at clinical outcomes in your area.
