About the Role: Are you a proactive and hands-on leader with experience managing a large volume of workers? We’re looking for a Contract Labour Manager to join our team and oversee the contract workforce at a busy manufacturing site. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and loves working with people to ensure things run smoothly, this could be the perfect role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing the workforce: You’ll oversee the temporary workers on-site, ensuring they are working effectively, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and staying motivated.

Project management- Ultimate responsibility for the recruitment plan and managing the end-to end recruitment process to ensure deadlines are achieved.
Monitoring performance: You’ll keep track of attendance, work quality, and productivity, stepping in when there are issues, and helping workers succeed.
Ensuring compliance: Safety’s a big deal in any factory, so you’ll make sure workers are following all safety regulations and procedures and that the work environment is up to standard.
Problem-solving: Things can get hectic, so you’ll need to address any issues quickly—whether it’s a staffing gap or a performance concern—and keep things moving smoothly.
Maintaining relationships: You’ll be building strong relationships with the workers on-site and the factory team, acting as a key point of contact when there are any concerns or questions. What We’re Looking For:
Experience managing temporary or contract workers: Ideally, you’ve worked in a manufacturing environment, especially in food production or something similar, and know how to manage a fluctuating workforce.
Strong communication skills: You’ll be liaising with lots of different people, so it’s important that you can communicate clearly and build good working relationships.
Problem-solver: Things don’t always go to plan, and you’ll need to think on your feet and find solutions to keep everything running smoothly.
Organised and efficient: You’ll need to stay on top of scheduling, attendance, and paperwork, so being detail-oriented and organised is key.
Health and safety know-how: You should understand the importance of keeping a safe work environment and know the regulations that apply in a factory setting.
A proactive attitude: You’ll be managing the day-to-day operations, so we need someone who is hands-on, can handle pressure, and isn’t afraid to get stuck in when needed.
