Finance Assistant (Accounts Receivable) SUMMARY Reporting to the Finance Director of this well-established and successful marketing company, the Finance Assistant role has primary responsibility for Accounts Receivable ensuring clients of the business pay for the goods and services that have been supplied in a timely manner, thereby supporting the business’s cash flow and profitability. KEY OBJECTIVES • Raising, posting and managing external revenue invoicing • Posting and maintaining information relating to the accounts receivable ledger • Credit control and Dunning • Bank reconciliations including bank transactions and postings • Liaising with Account Managers regarding Purchase Order numbers • Assisting with Sales Accruals and information for monthly management accounts • Administration of the Company’s Invoice Discounting Facility • Assisting with the Company Payroll • Involvement in special projects KEY SKILLS • AAT Qualified or studying towards (training to full qualification possible) • Good understanding of the tasks required in the role • Excellent attention to detail • Good communication skills BENEFITS Free on-site parking (own transport required) 22 days (B/Hols) holiday rising after 2 years to max 25 Sick Pay Hours of work: Mon to Fri, 8.30-5.30, 1 hour lunch break
