What will I be doing:
The Release Engineering team cover the whole Darktrace product suite, helping to create software updates and ensuring their stability. The team also plays a key role in troubleshooting software issues, collaborating closely with our Support Engineers and acting as a crucial liaison to our Development Team. In this role you will gain a broad understanding of large areas of the Darktrace product suite alongside opportunities to take on small projects, allowing you to utilise and develop your scripting skills. You will also be;
* Identifying new issues and diagnosing reported issues within the Darktrace platform,
* Liaising between the development team and our support team,
* Developing, configuring and automating systems and services.
This is a hybrid role, with a compulsory attendance of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.
What experience do I need:
* Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and analytical thinking, with the ability to leverage tools and data for troubleshooting and optimization,
* Ability to effectively collaborate within a small team comprised of varying levels of experience,
* An interest in cybersecurity, tech businesses, and emerging technology trends,
* A strong desire for continual learning and professional growth within the industry,
* Familiarity with the Linux command line and/or scripting languages such as Python or Bash would be advantageous,
* Previous experience in a DevOps or QA role would be beneficial, but is not a prerequisite.
This role is suitable for experienced and those early on in their careers.
