Following significant growth and the development of the business an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant with sound knowledge of Sales and Purchase ledger activities. Nominal Ledger knowledge would be an advantage. SAGE 50 accounts experience would be preferable.
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant who can grow and progress with the business. This is a great opportunity for a person that is interested in studying towards AAT and developing a career in finance.
Key responsibilities would initially include:
Sales ledger management
* Raising invoices
* Posting remittance advice notes
* Management of customer Sage accounts
* Uploading data to customer Accounts & SI/SA
* Contacting debtors for payment and handling queries
* Issuing credit notes for refunds
* Processing Refunds via the bank and SAGE
Purchase ledger management
* Manage upload to the Purchase Ledger
* Reconciling Supplier Statements to SAGE
* Handling supplier queries
* Collating the supplier payment run
* Processing payment run via SAGE and Bank
* Issuing supplier remittances
* Ongoing management of the Purchase Ledger
General ledger management
* Undertake daily bank reconciliation
* Reconciling and recording payment system costs
* Posting any expenditure purchase invoices and making the associated bank payments

Pay: £27,000.00 per year
