Job summary 12 month maternity cover Within Rotherham acute trust an opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join Care Group One. This is for a 12 month fix term/secondment to cover maternity leave. The post holder will work with the Matrons and Clinical Lead as the senior Triumvirate leading the specialties in which they are assigned. This will include leading on performance, service development and redesign and budget management. The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of organisational and communication skills, be self-motivated, lead their team(s) and take action accordingly to ensure their service(s) deliver outstanding levels of patient care. It is essential that the post-holder has a dynamic and flexible approach to working in a pressured environment to deliver the needs of the service and its patients. Interview date: 6th November 2024 Main duties of the job The post holder will work in conjunction with the Clinical Director and Matron for their areas to lead the provision of efficient, effective and high quality professional and well co- ordinated services which meet all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements ensuring alignment with the contracted activities of the Trust. To manage and deliver high quality, efficient and cost effective services within the Divisional with responsibility for a number of departments and/or integrated clinical pathways. To assure operational management for the delivery of departments and/or integrated clinical pathways. To ensure best practice in relation to the management of resources both human and material, finance, procurement, performance and governance. To ensure delivery of services in line with national, regional and local requirements ensuring performance against identified outcome measurements and standards as identified in individual departments and/or integrated clinical pathways. To develop and implement modernisation strategies within defined areas to meet national and local healthcare agendas. To produce accurate, high quality business cases for service developments or transformation ensuring inclusion of activity and income projections. To deputise for the Divisional Deputy General Manager where appropriate and required.
