About Chemify Chemify is creating a future where the access to important molecules, drugs and new materials currently unimaginable are instantly accessible radically increasing the speed of innovation, quality of life, and reach of humanity. The company is building the infrastructure to digitize chemistry to design, make, and discover new molecules with the desired function and properties instantly and on-demand. Chemify has built a platform that combines purpose-built programming languages, robotics, AI, and the world’s largest and continuously growing database of chemical programs to accelerate chemical discovery to new, transformative heights. Chemify is supported by some of the best investors from Silicon Valley and across the world, including Triatomic Capital, BlueYard ventures, DCVC, Founders Fund, and others. The Role As Chemify continues to automate all of chemistry, the Service and Support Engineer will fulfil a key role ensuring that our robotic platforms receive the maintenance and servicing activities that are necessary to keep Chemify at the forefront of delivering digital chemical solutions to our customers and changing the world of Chemistry through automation The engineer will work closely with technical colleagues across the business to develop preventative maintenance schedules, respond to platform failures and manage the support ticketing system. This is a diverse role, and the engineer will be expected to communicate effectively with many technical roles, from software engineers to chemists, helping to maintain our technologies in Chemify’s expanding network of discovery factories, first in Glasgow and then globally. The successful candidate will have direct experience of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance preferably on laboratory instrumentation. In addition, the candidate will have established and maintained maintenance schedules and routines. Experience with robotic systems is desirable, but not essential.
