Your part in the performance
Our ideal applicant will be able to communicate well with our Scandinavian speaking customers.
Ideally you will also be passionate about music and/or audio-visual products. Whether you are a DJ, play in a brass band, drum in a marching band, or love researching the latest home cinema or Wi-Fi tech on the market we can use your knowledge.
You will be set up to provide brilliant customer service. This will include answering inbound calls (and a few emails) from customers and providing them with friendly and professional advice on a wide range of musical instruments & equipment. Your day to day activities will look like:
1. Answering inbound calls (and a few emails) from customers
2. Providing customers with friendly and professional advice on a wide range of musical instruments and related products and/ or audio visual & equipment
3. Resolving challenging customer enquiries and escalating where appropriate
4. Becoming a valued member of our specialist Customer Service team!
Your Skills and Experience: What We're Looking For
Whilst we have an idea in mind of what we need, we are inclusive, and we want applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences that can come together to make this new team into a success. 5. Multilingual – excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a Scandinavian language such as Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish (C1/C2 level)
6. Confidence and an exceptional telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with customers
7. Some experience of working in a customer service environment
8. Computer literate to a high standard, with good Microsoft Office skills
9. A good knowledge of musical instruments and equipment would be hugely beneficial
10. Reliable and committed to providing first class advice and service
11. Highly communicative
12. Ideally have an interest and appreciation of music
We are predominantly looking for candidates to work at our head office in York. Working hours would be 8am till 4:30pm Monday to Friday with occasional Sunday working.
