Job Title: Day Concierge
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide a quality service to the residents and ensure individual requests are dealt with efficiently and timely.
2. Assist with the security of residents and the building, maintaining safety for all residents and visitors.
3. Ensure all requests & enquiries to the Concierge Department (in person, email, and by telephone) are handled professionally and promptly.
4. Accept and issue resident’s parcels.
5. Meet and greet all residents, guests, and clients, demonstrating a stand-to-greet service.
6. Ensure the smooth operation of communication systems within the Estate (telephone, radios, internal intercom system, etc.).
7. Ensure only authorized persons are granted access to certain areas.
8. Issue visitor parking permits and explain onsite parking procedures.
9. Communicate regularly with security about any concerning matters.
10. Liaise with cleaning staff regarding the removal of domestic rubbish and assist as necessary.
11. Report any security or health and safety issues accurately.
12. Document any incidents or complaints correctly.
13. Safekeep security keys for residents and the estate, adhering strictly to standard operating procedures.
14. Issue keys only to authorized personnel/residents, ensuring appropriate authorization and disclaimers are in place.
15. Cross-train staff from other resort departments.
16. Respond to resident enquiries through the b. Life system, meeting time constraints for open tickets.
17. Receipt and issue residents’ dry cleaning/laundry, ensuring relevant paperwork is completed.
18. Conduct apartment and estate key audits during night shifts, following up on any missing keys.
19. Proactively address maintenance and cleaning issues identified within the estate.
20. Maintain a safe environment for all individuals on the estate at all times.
21. Handle personal data securely, ensuring compliance with GDPR.
22. Report accidents and record them in the accident book as appropriate.
23. Manage the lobby lights, turning them on and off at appropriate times.
24. Handle high-pressure situations effectively, maintaining composure when dealing with complex issues or challenging individuals.
25. Conduct monthly stock checks of the first-aid box and concierge stock, requisitioning supplies as necessary.
26. Assist residents in a friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up.
27. Be knowledgeable about all essential aspects of the resort.
28. Build a good rapport with residents.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
1. Polite and confident with a great deal of patience.
2. Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
