Job Summary CDW have a permanent position available for a Breakfix Workshop Supervisor to work as part of our Operations Function, working alongside customers, partners and other Logistics & compliance professionals, as well as our onsite Workshops You will support the day to day management of Breakfix Services from Rugby NDC or Huntingdon Facilities You will help manage the efficient and economical movements of goods both to CDW Engineers, and directly to CDW customers, and through our Workshops. You will support all Co-workers within these departments to ensure the areas function correctly, and deliver on the needs of our Customers Key responsibilities Be able to follow procedures and adhere to safety and ESD precautions at all times. Be able to demonstrate strong problem solving techniques with the ability to adapt and learn on the job. Show ability to work quickly and soundly with minimal supervision. Display role model behaviour at all times. Comply with all company, department and customer policies and procedures to include attending team meetings and completion of administrative tasks Ensure all individual work is completed to the required standard and procedures have been followed at all times. Ensure all paper work and system entries are completed accurately and correctly. Be able to organise and manage individual workloads and time effectively. Liaising with the Workshop Senior Engineer to define priorities, objectives and strategy. Maintain, and improve, skills in appropriate technologies through training and personal development. Ensure that customers receive the highest level of quality Perform any additional duties assigned by management. It may be necessary on occasion for this individual to work beyond their regularly scheduled shift Demonstrated ability to self-learn To demonstrate the values as laid out in the CDW way and to keep updated with the CDW way To always look for improvement ideas to help the productivity and efficiency of the department Be the first point of contact for Rugby Breakfix Operations Produce, manage and improve the departments KPIs Manage the day to day operations of Breakfix Courier partners Attend customer meetings to represent the Breakfix function within Rugby NDC Full ownership of dangerous goods compliance across Breakfix Operations in Rugby NDC Identify & drive continual improvement & align colleagues with any changes Maintaining and improving the departments technology solutions Identify training needs for wider team members Ensuring SLA’s are hit as per daily operations Day to day management of the Workshop Operations, focusing on Administration, accuracy, and Leadership Provide 1 to 1 support and guidance to all Technicians Manage Performance reviews with Technicians Driving accountability from Team Leaders and Seniors Qualifications, Skills & Experience Advantageous to have experience within IT Industry ( Test & Repair ) & within a logistics function Advantageous to have experience with Health and Safety Essential Attributes Excellent organisational and communication skills Must be flexible Willing to work extra hours during peak periods to ensure SLA’s are adhered to Motivational, an ability to get the best from the team even during high volume periods Professional Honest and hardworking Self-Motivated and proactive Excellent attention to detail Proven record of reliability, responsibility and a solid work ethic Good interpersonal skills – ability to liaise with personnel at all levels and adapt style accordingly, being presentable and aware of external visitors Capable of multi tasking, efficiently managing time and resources Ability to work to challenging deadlines Have a desire for continuous development and improvement of self, team and Department A receptive, approachable individual who can provide and receive feedback in an effective, impartial manner Must posses a proactive approach to problem solving at root cause, with a can do attitude Multi-functional team player experienced in all aspects of general team work A good understanding of CDW as a business and its goals and visions for the future More about CDW and your career with us: At CDW, you’ll work with people who inspire you.
