What we offer you A salary of £38,655-£43,218 per annum, pro rata, plus benefits. Annual leave is in line with national entitlement and reflects the relevant local authority's annual leave. Your contact time with learners is 22.5 hours per week and a flexible work pattern can be applied to your other hours of work, including remote based working. The Essential qualities we look for Educated to degree level with undergraduate/postgraduate teaching qualification. Secondary school teaching experience. Desire to work with pupils who have experienced trauma and challenge. Must have a current valid driving license. PVG enhanced. Full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland. Right to work in UK. The Desirable Qualities We Look for Knowledge of theoretical approaches to Adverse Childhood Experiences, mental health, attachment, therapeutic parenting, etc. and able to apply to everyday practice. Experience of teaching and assessing pupils with Additional Support Needs, or the desire to undertake professional learning to gain skills in this area. Experience of formulating flexible curricula for ‘hard-to-reach' pupils.
