We are looking for an IT Supervisor. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager you will work within a small highly skilled IT engineering team to provide 3rd line support for IT/Telephony systems within our company and manage the IT apprenticeship scheme. You will have a wide scope of general IT infrastructure skills and experience in the pursuit of delivering a high standard of work to both the user communities and change projects.
Working closely with the IT Operations Manager in the delivery of projects and system changes, you will have practical experience of the deployment, configuration and maintenance of a broad range of diverse technologies with a focus on providing proactive and effective system and user support.
This role demands excellent technical skills with the ability to support, maintain and operate systems. You will work as part of a team but with the ability to take responsibility and accountability for independent work packages. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in projects and innovate whilst running all day to day support activities.

1. Manage Apprenticeship Scheme

3. Escalation point for 1st/2nd line support engineers
4. Acquisition Support – IE Site Surveys
5. Support System Setups
6. Be flexible for onsite installation work
7. Provide 2nd line IT support on a day-to-day basis
8. Some 1st Line support may also be required if 1st line engineer is busy
9. Support system changes and project work independent to day-to-day support activities
10. Out of hours installations & emergency site visits maybe required
11. Ability to prioritise mission critical vs non-critical
12. Work with the IT Manager and wider support team to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed and any training or documentation requirements are identified and implemented
