My client is a leading waste management company in Hampshire. They are looking to add to their team an experienced Sales Advisor.
This role will be based at the Head office in Fareham and is a full-time office-based role.
Due to the location of the offices, assess to a car is an advantage.
The Role
Providing a high level of customer service over the telephone
Securing orders by converting a call into a confirmed order
Upselling products/services wherever practicably possible
Processing orders and bookings
Taking payment details and processing the payment
Dealing with customer enquiries and queries
Various general office administration duties
Supporting other members of the team.
Hours
Working hours are 9 hours each day, which includes an hour’s unpaid lunch break, on varying shift patterns between 7.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm on a rota basis (usually one in nine).
Required skills
Excellent telephone manner – remaining friendly, polite, and professional at all times.
Great communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
Very good attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information, eg correct address, post code, contact name, contact numbers, and location details.
Very good sales experience with knowledge and understanding of the sales process and upselling.
Good organisation skills, with the ability to use own initiative.
Hardworking and conscientious.
Positive, motivated, and pro-active.
Reliable, flexible, and adaptable.
Ability to remain calm and patient when under pressure.
Ability to work within a busy and fast-paced customer focused sales environment.
