Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a real impact in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) and Alternative Provisions (APs)? We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our agency for upcoming roles across Tameside and Stockport.
About the Role:
As an HLTA in PRUs and APs, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs, behavioural challenges, or those requiring alternative pathways to education. Working alongside teachers and support staff, you will help create a structured, engaging, and supportive learning environment to empower students to succeed.
Responsibilities:
1. HLTA qualification or significant experience in a similar setting
2. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
3. Experience working with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs is highly desirable
4. Strong behaviour management skills and a resilient, positive attitude
5. Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
