We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Business Support Assistant.
What We Want You To Do…
1. Update manual and computerised records and ensure they are accurately maintained in accordance with Service timescales.
2. Carry out case audits and collate and analyse performance management information, producing reports on behalf of management.
3. Provide support within the Duty / Triage and manage the rota of front-line services where necessary.
4. Co-ordinate, monitor and provide administration support at statutory meetings across the service, including the accurate taking and recording of minutes.
5. Manage petty cash, and ordering and payment of invoices.
6. Respond to enquiries at the first point of contact, managing the unpredictability of call types and caller needs which could be complex, challenging, and face-to-face.
7. Other responsibilities allocated which are appropriate to the grade of the post.
The Candidates Must Have:
1. Experience using office-based software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office).
2. Experience working in an administrative setting.
3. Good communication skills.
4. Experience in minute taking and co-ordination of meetings.
5. The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
6. Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines.
7. Experience implementing and developing manual and computerised systems.
8. Knowledge of Administrative Systems & Procedures.
9. 5 GCSEs A - C or 9 - 4 including Maths and English or equivalent qualification or relevant demonstrable experience.
10. NVQ level 3 in Business Administration.
