Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
KBR is looking to recruit a Digital Enterprise Architect on a 12-month contract based in Warrington / Cumbria.

Role Overview:
The role is part of the PPP support to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) programme within Sellafield. The DAM programme is a site-wide delivery improvement programme aimed at addressing issues with Sellafield’s asset management arrangements.
Responsibilities:
1. Determining the technology system architecture and functional design needed to support and meet company business goals
2. Setting the context, defining common elements and creating patterns and standards to apply the details at a project level
3. Assisting management and stakeholders in evaluating the business’ mission and ensuring effective use of IT assets
4. Documenting the process using multiple architectural models
5. Evaluating existing IT systems for exposure or weaknesses
6. First-hand experience developing and building models
7. Implementing shared infrastructure to optimise information management systems
8. Developing and maintaining the Enterprise Architecture, principles, guidelines, templates, and reference materials
9. Working closely with organisational strategy teams and other organisations to document ICT requirements
10. Providing strategic advice and guidance to business functions responsible for implementation
11. Collaborating with the Architecture team to decompose business requirements into Architecture Building Blocks
12. Engaging as part of the collaborative team to develop an ICT roadmap
13. Providing input to organisational portfolio planning and ICT Strategy
14. Interpreting changes in business models to benefit Sellafield
Skills / ESSENTIAL:
1. Seven to ten years of experience in IT, information security or a related field
2. Ability to scrutinise enterprise structure to improve operations
3. Ability to analyse data to identify cost-saving opportunities
4. Skills in developing standards and policies for IT assets
5. Excellent communication skills for educating employees on best practices
6. Expert knowledge in computer science and IT
7. Expertise in cloud computing
8. Efficiency in time management and project management
9. Expertise in developing architectures where security is critical
10. Hold or be capable of obtaining government clearance (SC/SL – Nuclear)
Skills / DESIRABLE:
1. Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly way
2. Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
3. Experience in developing architectures within asset management
4. Experience with platforms such as Hexagon j5, PEGA, IBM Maximo & SAP
