Service Controller

Our client is a well-established supplier of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning across a wide range of sectors. We are looking for someone from a service desk background who understands the importance of outstanding customer experience and attention to detail.

As a Service Controller with Jordon, you’ll do it by:
1. Ensuring all new calls are allocated to engineers in a timely manner.
2. Effectively planning engineers’ callouts to customers and ensuring the work is allocated effectively.
3. Continually communicating with customers should any problems arise on site.
4. Monitoring and dealing with service call outs via the service desk email box.
What does it take?
If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Service Controller, you’ll need:
1. IT literate (able to use Outlook and MS Office suite of products).
2. A professional, friendly, can-do response when dealing with colleagues and customers.
3. A strong team player.
4. Customer service focused.
5. A good communicator with a keen eye for attention to detail.
6. Strong experience in a service desk role (minimum 2 years ideally).
Working arrangements
The successful candidate will be required to work from the office located in Oldham, Manchester. Full-time hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm (must be flexible to provide some cover 1 in 5 weekends, which attracts a callout payment).
