Job Description
Our bespoke care services to help our clients remain safe and comfortable within their own home. All of our clients and visits are wonderfully unique, your care visits may include:
* Building a professional and friendly relationship with our client, their family, friends and others involved with their health and well-being
* Personal Care – supporting with washing, dressing, grooming
* Companionship – conversation and good company - assist with writing letters and enjoying a chat
* Activities – accompanying to outings, social events and encourage hobbies and pastimes - (what's your hobby?!)
* Plan, prepare and cook nutritious food - rediscovering favourite family recipes
* Medication – collecting prescriptions, medication reminders
* Home help such as light housekeeping – ensuring their home is safe, tidy and spotless
* Shopping, run errands and accompanying to appointments
Qualifications
A great smile! and of course at Home Instead we value a kind, compassionate heart above all else. We provide full, paid training for all our Care Professional’s as standard, however any previous care or personal experience is always very welcome.
We match you to nearby clients - however you will need to be a driver, over 18 with access to your own car.
Additional Information
All our visits are a minimum of 1 hour, to give plenty of time to complete tasks and enjoy getting to know your client, because we believe in proper person-centered care.
You will be matched to clients based on mutual interests and hobbies and will consistently see the same clients each time.
Zero hour and average hour contracts available
* Starting pay £11.50 per hour Monday to Friday - £12.50 on weekends and double pay on Public holidays
* Paid mileage
* Paid travel and waiting time
* A variety of hours to fit around any schedule
