My client is a market-leader in the supply of equipment to industries such as Construction & Events, Civil Engineering & Utilities, and they seek a Hire Desk Controller to join their friendly team near Haydock. They are a dynamic and quickly growing business looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join their growing team on a full-time basis.
They seek an ambitious individual with excellent customer service skills and a professional manner, comfortable in customer service and sales situations, who can co-ordinate and work alongside the Sales Manager within the business.
Position Responsibilities
1. Deal with telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries; orders from customers and provide accurate information as required.
2. Ensure accuracy of all paperwork and that procedures for hire and sales contracts, purchase orders, stock transfers, and asset administration are adhered to.
3. Liaise with the warehouse to ensure equipment required for hire is available.
4. Co-ordinate Drivers to ensure equipment is delivered and collected from customers on time and efficiently.
5. Ensure all deadlines are met in relation to reporting of information.
6. Work within the Health & Safety policy of the company to ensure safe working practices.
7. Maximise consumable sales opportunities at every opportunity.
