What will you do
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst to join our Learning Team in Saudi Arabia. This remote role will be critical in evaluating student learning data, building dashboards, and deriving insights to drive strategy and improve the student experience at Noon Academy. As a Data Analyst on the Learning Team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Product, to create automated reports, visualize key metrics, and monitor learning outcomes. You’ll leverage data to help the team optimize student performance and engagement through actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Deep-Dives: Analyze and interpret student data to calculate learning gains, identify trends, and generate insights that will influence the Learning Team’s strategic decisions.
2. Dashboard Development: Build and maintain dashboards using Tableau, SQL, and Gsheets to support operational teams in monitoring session NPS (Net Promoter Score) and compliance metrics.
3. Automation of Student Reports: Design and implement automated reporting systems to streamline the generation of student performance reports, providing timely and actionable feedback for both students and teachers.
4. Insights and Strategy: Work closely with the Learning Team to provide insights derived from student data, influencing strategy and program design to maximize educational outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, ideally within an education or technology company.
Technical Skills:
1. Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and preparing data.
2. Advanced knowledge of Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
3. Experience with Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with an ability to dive into data, uncover trends, and generate actionable insights.
Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying issues and providing data-driven solutions.
Communication: Ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
1. Experience working with educational data and understanding of key learning metrics.
2. Familiarity with additional data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
3. Exposure to automation tools or scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
