About the Role
As a Unit Nurse Manager (Mental Health) at Barchester, you will utilise your compassion and initiative to ensure our residents receive high-quality care. You will be responsible for planning, managing and monitoring the delivery of nursing and mental health care, assessing resident needs and implementing person-centred care plans that make a real difference in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage rotas to ensure effective staffing levels
* Recruit, train and mentor staff to enhance skill development and improve patient outcomes
* Build strong relationships with local regulators and social services

About You
To be considered for this role, you must be a Registered Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration and experience in caring for older adults and individuals with dementia. A successful track record of developing well-structured care plans and detailed risk assessments is also essential. Additionally, you should possess up-to-date knowledge of clinical best practices and an understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.
